Who do we represent?
Dobsons is one of the leading Legal Aid Housing practices in the region, conducting substantial numbers of housing cases. We are members of the Housing Duty schemes at Altrincham, Salford and Manchester County Courts for possession and other cases.
Funding of Cases
We offer Legal Aid advice and representation to clients who qualify under our specialist housing contract. If you are unsure whether you will qualify, we will check and confirm during the first, free, meeting. For tenants who do not qualify for Legal Aid, we try to agree realistic rates and can offer “No Win No Fee” for some disrepair and related personal injury claims.
What do we cover?
We essentially cover every type of housing related issue for tenants. We particularly undertake large numbers of possession, disrepair and nuisance cases. It is unlikely that there will be an issue that we have not dealt with many times before.
